Next weekend, the May Long Weekend will come to Whistler with a bang thanks to an awesome new festival that celebrates everything that is amazing about the great outdoors and Whistler in the spring. With 4 days packed full of events and activities, the weekend is like a Choose Your Own Adventure book come to life. No matter if you prefer to spend a relaxing day at Nita Lake Lodge ‘Painting in the Peaks’ or put their skills to the test with ‘The Great Cheakamus Ricer Extream Kayak Race’ there will be something for everyone – from Sports to Arts & Culture. Plus, what is a Whistler Festival without free concerts and entertainment?!
Each year, Whistler looks to add to their year-round offerings and this new festival will extend the already exciting line-up of events in Whistler right through from the World Ski & Snowboard Festival to the RBC GranFondo Whistler in September. Whistler locals have always known that spring in Whistler is the perfect time of year where you can ski in the morning and bike or golf in the afternoon. The GO Fest will celebrate and share this with everyone.
