This Week’s Whistler Real Estate Outlook: July 20 – 26

As has become a trend so far this summer, there are many new listings to see this week with a total of 28 in Whistler and Pemberton. The communities also saw 10 completed sales in the past week. We can expect that the number of closings this time next week will be substantially higher as July moves into August.

New Whistler Real Estate Listings

26 new listings came to market in Whistler over the past 7 days:

  • Luxury Chalets – There was 1 new luxury chalet listed this week in Blueberry. It features a 5 bedroom home on a large 18,000+ square foot lot. Listed at $8,950,000.
  • Single-Family Homes – There are 2 new chalet listings this week, both in Alpine Meadows.
  • Building Lots – 4 parcles of vacant land came to the market – 2 in the new neighbourhood of Cypress Place, as well as 1 in Alpine Meadows and 1 in Bayshores.
  • Duplexes – This past week saw the addition of 4 duplexes to the real estate offerings in Whistler. They range in price from $649,000 to $1,023,750.
  • Townhomes – The selection of new townhome listings this week is diverse and ranges from a luxurious 3 bedroom townhome listed at $1,239,000 in the Benchlands to my convenient and updates 1 bedroom townhome in Whistler Creekside.
  • Condominiums – There is also a selection of new Phase I and Phase II condos. Most of them are located in the Village or Benchlands but there is also 1 new condo listing in Nordic.
  • Shared Ownership – This week, there are 2 new quartershare properties in the Legends and 1 in Evolution.

 

New Pemberton Real Estate Listings

2 new listings came to the market in Pemberton in the past 7 days:

  • 2831 Blackwater Road – A 2 bedroom recreational property sitting on 1.99 acres in D’Arcy. Listed at $234,500.
  • 208 Portage Station – Walk to all of Pemberton’s amenities from this 2 bedroom condo. Listed at $219,000.
